Bound set of 22 copies of the scarce Czech avant-garde women's magazine, Eva, 1933-1934. Eva, the fantastic twice-monthly "journal of educated women," was published only from 1928 to 1943. The magazine was known for its avant-garde modernist graphics and features of prominent Czech women in sleek fashions of the day. Super scarce - even single copies of this magazine are hard to come by.

 

A whopping 714 pgs, measures approx. 13.1" H x 9.5" W x 1.8" D. Good condition - some darkening to edges of cover, toning to pages, some bends or creasing to pages. Original magazine owner's name handwritten on the covers.
