Les Belles et Les Bêtes, late 1930s. "The Beauties and the Beasts" themed catalog for Les Fourrures Brunswick, the Parisian furrier that, according to their tagline ("Le fourrure qui fait fureur"), was all the rage in its time. The pages demonstrate their new styles in photographs and illustrations, alongside anecdotes about furs throughout history.
 
Includes sheet of prices for each style and ordering form. 40 pgs, measures approx. 9.5" H x 7" W x 0.15" D. Good condition with fair cover – soiling to cover and upper corner creased; interior pages toned, curled upper corner, some marks. Prices written in pencil for each style by the original customer who owned it.
